Will Guild Wars work on Windows Vista?
If it will, will it work well, or will it be laggy?

Yup, although on mine (I think it's vista home premium 64) every time I close GW the stupid windows media player 'pops' open. The good news is it's only annoyingly predictable and not a serious issue.

Works fine, if it is laggy it will probably be because of a lack of memory or lack of a decent graphics card.

If you have FPS to spare and still stay over 25-30, you'll be fine. |

Works fine on my computer with Windows Vista premium. I would however recommend at least 2 gig memory.

Also, Gaile commented on this last night in chat; specifically she said "Vista is compatible with Guild wars now. Believe me, we play on Vista at work. No issues; it works great." I'm on Vista Home Premium 34bit and it runs perfectly.
It even runs texmod. (I thought i'd add that since someone was recently claiming in another forum that it doesn't work on Vista, when in actual fact it does.) |

I was running it on Vista Home Basic no issues at all with Guild Wars.
I returned to Windows XP because vista just was not working with other software I had to used on a daily basese, but Guild wars had no issues. |
